Night's ears twicthed in his sleep listening to Kari. He smiled she had finally relaxed enough for him to relax. -Wait Night what is wrong with you?- he thought to himself. He twicthed slightly and sighed opening his eyes. His blue orbs fell on Kari who had taken interest in a bug. He laughed softly before speaking "Enjoying yourself there?" he asked kindly still laughing.

Seeker huffed at Faith and slightly glared at her as she walked away. The brute looked at the two wolves in front of them and sighed, turning around he walked away slowly from the clearing, following a less worn path through the forest. Seeker walked with his head low, ears perked, following he scent of another small herd of deer, maybe i could invite the new wolves to join me this time he thought before he heard a faint whimper coming from his left side. Veering off the path, the brute followed the sound till he reached the river.

Drifting through the water was a small wooden platform with a white ball of fluff on it. Seeker snorted and started turning around until he heard the sound again coming from the platform, he turned around and looked more closely at the ball of fluff, sure enough it's side was moving like it was breathing; Seeker waited a few moments till the sound came again, but fainter then it was the last time. The brute dished into the water and swam fiercely toward the drafting platform. Swimming behind the platform , he pushed it toward shore.

Seeker then dragged it farther from the water, his fur clinging to his body. the brute walked around the platform several times then nudged the fluff ball with his nose, a small paw fell away from the creatures face, revealing a small wolf pup, not but a few months old. he nudged it again and discovered a large scratch along it side; Seeker jerked his head back and grabbed the pups scruff gently in his mouth and started trotting at a fast pace back to the others. i need yarrow, maybe some cobwebs and poppyseeds....... he thought

The grey brute Kohnan had been watching silently when a familiar, unwelcome scent hit his nose. It was faint, but getting stronger. He perked his ears to faint paw steps and spun around, waiting a moment. The scent he had smelled was blood, but it was mixed with Seeker's scent and the scent of another unknown wolf - a pup by the smell of it. Kohnan waited for Seeker, and when he saw the familiar silver wolf, he dashed through the woods to his side. He noticed the bleeding ball of fluff and was immediately alert. "What happened?" his voice was brisk and concerned, but he couldn't let his anger make him sound disrespectful around his alpha.

The brute stopped where he was a laid down with the pup between his front legs and turned her over on her uninjured side and started licking at the scratch softly," The blood is old and dried, perhaps a day old" he said talking mainly to him-self then sniffed around the injury, "a infection hasn't settled in yet, i need yarrow and wait for the pup to wake to see if she need poppyseeds" he started licking the pup again then looked up at Kohnan," I don't know what happen, she was on a wooden platform drifting down the river" He said to him, looking down at the pup, his eyes tender and loving. " I need you to get some yarrow to prevent infection and release any pain she might have" he spoke between licks

Glisten backed away shocked at upset by Seeker's reactions. "Sorry" she muttered as she stepped away thinking she's done wrong. Her eyes hit the floor confused and disheartened once more. The fae trotted towards the stream and licked some of the water up from it. She sat under a nearby tree and couldn't help the bad memories from flooding in she was always a sensitive wolf and things would hurt her even if they weren't mean't too. She then realised why she left her brother's pack, she knew she wasn't going through that upset again. "I'm sorry..I just try too hard" Glisten said once more looking back behind her. She resumed to her thoughts and decided she'd inspect the border for threats and close up once again.

The over whelming scent of a pup drafted through Faith's nose. With a huff, the coal Fae trotted towards the lake, spotting three of the pack members. Her soft azul orbs glared towards an object near by the silver brute. In mid stride, Faith stopped ntoicing it was just a pup. With a litlt of her head, gingerly she lowered her cranium. "And who is this?" Faith asked glaring towards the silver Brute who had rolled it's eyes at her.

The large brute Kohnan had gotten what the silver brute had requested, and was watching the scent unfold in front of him. He could smell his mate coming closer, and nodded his head to her when she arrived before he looked back to the pup. He always had a soft side for pups, but not yearlings. He liked well-mannered yearlings, but the obnoxious ones he couldn't stand. He silently wondered what this pup would be like when she turned a year old, and what her life would be like when she grew up. Stop it, Kohnan! He thought harshly to himself. She isn't your pup!

Nevertheless, his eyes fogged over in his own thoughts of the past, when his parents would look upon him and his brother while they played. They just stared at them and whispered softly. Not as if they were keeping secrets, but as if they were having a quiet conversation about them. Kohnan now wondered if they were discussing their thoughts on how Kohnan and Jake would turn out to be like when they grew up. They never got to see their future.

That's enough! He thought. As he did, he made an audible huff before the stood to preoccupy himself with drinking from the creek.

Night yawned waking. His blue eyes scanned the area looking for the others. He forgot for a moment where her truely was but smiled knowing he had found his place in a pack. He noticed there was a small commotion going on over by the other wolves. He smiled and stood padding over but stopped deciding to wait and see.

Frames after frames walked towards the pup. The overwhelming amount of wolves caused Faith to trot away. Her peds sank into the thick mud before being lifted away as she stepped closer and deep into the forest. Ah, the wonderful look of night. The ever glowing moon up in the dark blue sky. This sight made her stop near by a large oak tree. Using the power deep with in the back of her legs, Faith jumped upon the near by hanging branch.

Night padded closer to Kari perring at what she was looking at. He sighed sadly seeing the form of a pup. The small wet bedraggled thing lay still and quiet. His tail flicked tiwice sitting keeping close to Kari.

The large grey brute Kohnan's golden orbs snapped back into focus as he noticed that the coal Fae was missing from the group. He turned away from the wolves and began to walk through the forest until he came upon a large oak that held the Fae's scent. He looked up into the trees and smiled before bounding up to the branch to sit next to her. The feeling of the cool bark under his paws seemed somehow comforting as he stared up at the stars that surrounded the moon.

Uprising gale softly turned Faith's coal pelt as a silver frame came into her view. A faint smile appearing upon her maw before speaking. "Hello Kohnan, look it's night once again. I love the sounds of night" she said feeling how smooth the branch was. Using her banner, the fox sized Fae lowered herself onto the branch.

Night's gaze lifted up into a nearby tree. He sighed seeing Faith and Kohnan happily sitting in a low hanging branch. His eyes blinked twice before turning away his shoulder slightly slumped.

The white pup scooted closer to silver brute as unfamiliar figures surrounded them. she looked up at seeker and whined. Seeker nuzzled her softly, "It's okay, little one. Their friends"He said then repeated his question ,"Do you have a name?" the little pup shook her head, surprised Seeker snapped his head back. the pup watched him as he looked at the others then back to her." Do you have a name you prefer?" he questioned, lowering his head down once again. the pup scratched at the ground, writing a word; Turning his head sideways and squinted his eyes,"jinx?" he said looking back at the pup, whom smiled weakly, her eyes like two blue gems. "my name is Seeker, Jinx" he smiled and looked over at the herbs kohnan left. He dragged it over and looked at the pup,"I need you to lay back down, Hun" Jinx did what he said and the brute started chewing the yarrow before he applied them to the pups side.

They grey brute Kohnan balanced himself on the branch and looked at the coal Fae beside him. "Yeah. They're soothing." He smiled and turned his gaze to the forest floor before deciding. "Hey," he said, looking back at Faith, "want to see something cool?"
