(Erm, what's a banner? Is it a tail? And if you can't make it out, Kari has found Night and all that). :U
The young female trudged through the snow, its cold moisture making her paws tingle. Kari's limbs were aching, and she longed for a safe place to stay for the day. Her paws too, hurt so much it was madness. She could only imagine how many cuts there were on her pads.
Her green gaze soon fell upon what she thought was a hare. Ahh, finally, a source of food. She'd been walking through these forests for at least a couple of days with almost no food to fulfil her hunger. The canid rolled the carcass over with her small black muzzle. Besides the fact that this creature was already killed by another, it had not been eaten. It seemed quite fresh, too. Kari bent down and quickly scoffed up what were the remains of the animal, her strength almost returning at the very moment she had finished it. The she-wolf licked her maw, in order to take the blood away from it. With a slight huff, she continued walking onwards.
As the black wolf did so, she began nearing an area which smelt of wolf. But it was not just of one wolf, it was of many. She shuddered, wondering what a pack might do if they stumbled upon her. Kari heard a muffle of voices. As she peered through the snowy tree's she could make out a dark-pelted wolf and the female also caught the scent of two others up ahead. Unsure of what to do, the canine watched on as to what was happened, not ready to reveal herself just yet.
